(Wed 15th Feb)
The UCLU Malaysian Society presents a production based on one of Malaysia's most well-known historical legends. When Wan Darus goes off to war, he leaves behind his wife; the beautiful, gentle-natured Mahsuri, to care for their only child. An enigmatic travelling poet soon wanders into the village, and the two strike up a strong friendship. Mahsuri's enemies soon see this as an opportunity to wreak havoc; and a series of betrayal and deception ensues, leading to consequences far more devastating and shocking than any of them could have imagined.
